Hongwei Electronics Appliances Announces Major Expansion to Boost Global Production Capacity
Hongwei Electronics Appliances today announced the completion of its newest manufacturing expansion in Dongguan’s Changan industrial zone, adding 6,000 square meters of automated production space designed for high-efficiency cable assemblies and portable solar-energy components.
According to the company, the new facility increases annual production capacity by over 35%, supporting growing demand from North America and Southeast Asia. The expansion includes upgraded SMT lines, automated wire-cutting systems, and expanded testing capabilities for high-power connectors and foldable solar modules.
“We’ve seen significant growth in consumer electronics and off-grid energy applications over the past two years,” said Chen Jiahao, General Manager of Hongwei Electronics Appliances. “This expansion allows us to serve global customers faster while maintaining strict ISO9001 quality standards.”
Industry analysts note that Hongwei’s broadened capability positions it as a competitive OEM/ODM partner for emerging brands in portable power systems, RV accessories, and commercial solar kits.
